Our story

What we learned
by moving ourselves.

Between us, we moved from Australia to two different overseas bases. Victoria and Stephan built from Dubai. Matthew and Felicity rebuilt from Bali. Some questions only came up when each of us started doing it. There were practical details we hadn’t found online.

The team researches options and asks practical questions. We look at the decisions involved in a move, where qualified advice is needed and how the work fits together.

The four of us partnered to launch Project Get Out. Victoria brings legal experience; Stephan brings business and operations; Matthew brings serial entrepreneurship, property and execution; Felicity brings entrepreneurship, brand building and community. Together, we help you work out what matters for your move and who you need involved.

Victoria Wells is Principal and Co-Founder of Ape Law. Her legal work covers company structures, digital asset regulation and the requirements of running a business internationally.

Her background includes serving as Chief Legal Officer at Illuvium and founding Alt Law in Australia. She has built a legal practice and worked inside a business, so she understands how legal decisions affect the people running it.

She moved from Australia to Dubai with her partner, Stephan Roberto. At Project Get Out, her role covers legal scope and international structuring. The Australian Exit Guide was built with her legal input, and the journal publishes relocation articles under her byline.

Stephan Roberto is a serial entrepreneur who runs Scale Manual, Project Get Out and Ape Law. He brings experience running businesses, working in technology and operations, and making his own move from Australia to Dubai.

Stephan is CTO and Co-Founder of Ape Law. At Project Get Out, he handles research, technology and operations. He helps business owners work out what needs to happen, who needs to be involved and in what order.

He moved from Australia to Dubai with his partner, Victoria Wells. At Project Get Out, he handles technology, systems, research coordination and operations. The journal publishes articles under his byline on preparing for a move and evaluating providers.

Matthew “Matt” Cameron is a serial entrepreneur and property developer. After building businesses and a property portfolio in Australia, he moved with his family to Bali, where his public work now focuses on property, cross-border business structures and building from overseas.

As a founding partner of Project Get Out, Matt brings the perspective of an operator who has made the move himself: leaving Australia, relocating his family and rebuilding business and investment activity from Bali.

As a founding partner of Project Get Out, Felicity brings the perspective of a founder and creator who has translated an Australian business life into an overseas base, while building a public platform and community.
